|Find the item that you wish to purchase.|
If you know what you want to purchase, the simplest way is to enter the name or product code in the search box located beneath the main buttons at the top of the page.
Alternatively, you may type a general name (e.g. ‘toasters’) into the search box or click any of the menu tabs and links around the website until you find an item that you want.
To find out more, in-depth information on a specific product , simply click on the name or image of that item to see its specification page.
The specification page will show:
An image of the item (providing we have one on file);
Technical information about the item;
A box to allow you to alter the quantity of the item(s) that you wish to purchase;
A button allowing you to add the item(s) to your shopping basket.
The website features a virtual ‘shopping basket’ which allows you to store all of the items that you intend to purchase. Items can be removed from this basket at any time, or saved for purchase at a later time. By clicking the ‘ADD TO BASKET’ button for any item, the item is placed in the shopping basket.
The shopping basket window features on every page at the top right. In it you can see a summary of your shopping basket contents. By clicking on the ‘VIEW’ button you can see your current shopping basket contents at any time.
To start filling in an order form click the ‘CHECKOUT’ or ‘PROCEED TO CHECKOUT’ button.
If you haven’t shopped with us before you will need to set up an account to allow you to purchase online through our website. To do this either click ‘LOGIN’ or ‘REGISTER’ and you will be taken to that account login screen. Please enter your e-mail address and select ’No, I haven’t shopped with Acorn before’. Then click the ’PROCEED’ button.
In the next screen please provide us with your contact details. It is important to give us a correct address as this is where we will be dispatching your order to. If the address you would like to send the invoice to is different to the delivery address, don’t worry, you will have a chance to edit this later on.
|Providing a password|
Please consider your password carefully. It must be between 6 and 13 characters long. It is case sensitive. You will require both your password and e-mail address in order to access your site.
Click the ‘PROCEED’ button
|The next screen provides you with an order summary. Here you can edit any information including the invoice address. Once you have confirmed all of the information is correct, click ‘PROCEED TO PAYMENT’.|

We accept the following credit cards: Mastercard, Solo, Switch, Visa, Visa Debit (Delta), Visa Electron.
After you have filled in your details click ‘CONTINUE’
|Place your order|
|The next screen allows you to review all of the information that you have given us and to ensure all of the items are correct. You can edit items, quantities and your address on this screen. Once you are satisfied that the information is correct, click ‘PLACE YOUR ORDER’.|
|After the payment screen|
This screen confirms that your order has been received and provides you with a unique reference number. Please print or save this information for future reference.
We will also send a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address you have supplied to us.
